In Nieuw-Vennep – strategically located in the heart of the Randstad conurbation – the organisation has a modern cold store with no fewer than 22,000 pallet spaces. Thanks to this central location (only a fifteen-minute drive from Schiphol, Amsterdam, Haarlem and Leiden), Frigo can guarantee excellent logistical connections for local supply and distribution to further destinations.

The cold store offers a wide range of temperature ranges, from frozen storage at -26°C to cold storage at around +5°C, and has a freezing capacity of up to 100 tonnes per day. In addition, it has important licences such as meat licences (K and B) and a customs warehouse licence, which gives customers extra assurance about the quality and compliance of their stored goods.

Quality is of paramount importance to Frigo Group: that is why the refrigeration and freezing facilities are regularly inspected by the Dutch Food and Consumer Product Safety Authority, and employees work in accordance with international standards such as ISO 22000 and IFS. Thanks to an advanced Warehouse Management System (WMS), customers even have real-time insight into their stock down to the package level.
